How do I join Noturee as a notary? ›
Download the Noturee app (available on iOS and Android), tap Sign Up as a Notary, enter your name, email, phone, and password, then verify your email. From there, complete the 4-step application wizard with your commission details, document uploads, insurance info, and service specializations.
What documents do I need to apply? ›
You'll need: your commission number and expiration date, a copy of your notary license, a bond certificate, and your E&O insurance certificate. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF. Max file size 10 MB each.
How long does the approval process take? ›
Applications are typically reviewed within 1–3 business days. You'll receive an email notification with the outcome. If additional information is needed, our team will contact you at the email on file.
What do I need to complete after I'm approved? ›
Three steps are required before you can accept bookings:

1. Connect Payment Account — Link your Stripe account in Edit Profile → Payment Account so you can receive payouts.

2. Upload Credentials — Upload your current license, bond, and E&O insurance in the My Documents section.

3. Complete Your Profile — Add service areas, a bio, and a profile photo to appear in client searches.

How do I set my availability? ›
From the Notary Dashboard, tap Set Availability in Quick Actions. Toggle each day on or off and set your available time blocks. You can define multiple windows per day (e.g., mornings and evenings). You can also set a minimum advance notice period and a maximum number of bookings per day.
How do I accept or decline a booking request? ›
New requests appear in Manage Bookings and trigger a push notification. Tap the booking to view client details, then tap Confirm to accept or Decline to reject. Declined bookings automatically release the client's payment authorization — no charge is made to their card.
What happens when I complete a booking? ›
Tap the booking → tap Mark Complete. This signals Stripe to release the payment from escrow and initiate a payout to your bank account (typically 2 business days). The client also receives a completion email and a prompt to leave a review.

Is Noturee free for notaries? ›
Yes — the core platform is completely free for notaries. There are no subscription fees, no commissions, and no hidden deductions. You keep 100% of your quoted rate. Clients pay a separate $8.95 Noturee app fee on top of your rate — this is never deducted from your earnings.
How do payouts work? ›
Noturee uses Stripe Connect for payments. When you mark a booking complete, Stripe captures the client's payment and initiates a payout to your connected bank account. Standard payout timing is 2 business days. You must connect a Stripe account in your profile settings before accepting bookings.
What is the Noturee app fee? ›
Noturee charges clients a flat $8.95 app fee per booking in addition to the notary's quoted rate. This fee is never taken from the notary's earnings — you always receive your full quoted amount. Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 card processing fee is also absorbed on the client side.
